WW2 German Flakkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe Original

Original price was: $325.00.Current price is: $0.00.

Very nice original Unmarked, Unknown maker Luftwaffe Flak badge in very good condition. Made in silvered Brennlack. This is the unknown maker version documented on pages 228-233 of Marc E. Garlasco’s “The Flak Badges” (2008). Many believe this maker to be attributed to Adolf Scholze, Grunwald a.d.N.

Badges by this unknown maker are among the earliest Luftwaffe Flak Badges. They can be found made of tombac or nickel silver. Later badges are made of zinc. They are also considered by many to be of the highest quality of all Luftwaffe Flak Badges. One of the distinctive features is the unique ball hinge, seemingly linking the badges to a maker from the city of Gablonz where this type of hardware was used.
