NSDAP Reichsleiter Collar Tabs (RZM Tagged)
A pair of NSDAP Reichsleiter Collar Tabs, RZM tag to reverse. Only 23 men held the top ranks in the NSDAP party, but not all wore this style collar tab, so these tabs are extremely rare—beautiful hand embroidery; cellion with bullion highlights, in amazing condition, beautiful bullion work, and bright color. There is no damage to the bullion at all.
These tabs were acquired in the estate sale of a deceased veteran who served with the U.S. 12th Army Intelligence Unit in London and throughout German from 1944 to 1950, He interrogated high-ranking members of the Nazi Party, these tabs and the Unissued Mint Untersturmführer Tabs (SOLD) came from this Estate. Hitler established the Reichsleiter rank on 2 June 1933 and appointed 16 individuals to that rank. Subsequently, 6 additional individuals were appointed to the rank between 1933 and 1938, making these tabs extremely rare.
