Prussia, German Medal Grouping, ✠  Iron Cross 1914 ✠ Johanniter order of St John

I have for sale here 3 pieces, an EK2 by Juncker, an EK2 in gold gilt by KO, and an Order of St John Medal. Both EKs have iron Cores, the Gold cross is super unique as I have never been able to find another like it. at first glance, one may say it’s just a brass core with all the finish removed and although that would make sense on many crosses it does not make sense on this one as the core is iron and had the gold gilt laid on the iron and you NEVER EVER see that. This gold cross is a private purchase and I believe it is a wartime-made cross as the core is cast. the necklace which measures 34″ long from end-to-end is non-ferrous and is also from the period, you see this style of chain on many Imperial German pieces from the early 1900s, in fact, I have several. I also have bracelets made by KO, it’s obvious KO made much more than just EKs and in terms of EKs, they also made private purchase pieces.
KO was one of the initial five makers authorized to produce government EKs between 1914 and 1916

making this cross an original and rare early to mid-war wartime-issued cross (LOOK AT PHOTOS) Magnetic and Rare!

The Juncker cross is also a magnificent piece, with a fully blackened core and a J stamp to the ring, this one remains in excellent condition!

Order of St John, I know really nothing about it other than what I read on Medalgroup and beyond. what I do know is this. it is NOT an 18k gold medal, it is die-stamped, it is not magnetic and I believe it is a Wagner-made piece as there is a “W” stamp on the frame. the details are really good and the eagles appear to be soldered but you be the judge and look at the pics. these were made in the 1800s-1900s. the enamel is excellent and the gilt is very nice. unfortunately, these things from what I read are heavily faked and I also believe these are still made today if you join the order? I don’t know like I said. Look at the pics!
