1919/20 Fliers Commemorative Badge, by Paul Meybauer (925 silver)
(Flieger-Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of 925 Silver and hallmarked, the obverse consists of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon, topped by a semi-hollow German State Crown, around a central eagle set over a background, just above a rural landscape, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, A clearly marked manufactured in 925 Silver by Paul Meybauer of Berlin, measuring 45.4 mm (w) x 72.1 mm (l), weighing 45.67 grams, in extremely fine condition.
