A Mid-War Luftwaffe (Fliegerschützen-Bordfunker-und Bordmechanikerabzeichen) Constructed with a silvered wreath and a patinated eagle, the wreath consists of laurel leaves on the left side of the wreath, oak leaves on the right, with a mobile swastika on the bottom of the wreath, and an eagle superimposed onto the badge holding lightning bolts in its talons, the reverse plain, with a vertical needle style pinback, an integrated cast barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch, marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne “A” on the reverse, in extremely fine condition.
