These Luftwaffe Breast Eagles for use on tropical uniforms were the same for issued uniforms for both other ranks, NCOs and officers. It is authentically pre-trimmed around the eagle and is ready for easy sewing by hand. Machine embroidered and mounted on cotton tan, this breast eagle also features a soft backing to protect the embroidery. measuring 95 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in extremely fine unissued condition.
This Luftwaffe breast eagle is the correct eagle for tropical feldbluse and also tan and water jump smock. This pattern was worn by members of the German Afrika Korps as well as by the Luftwaffe in tropical areas such as Italy and the Balkans.
