Heer Administrative Visor Cap By L. Reuther Munich

WWII GERMAN WEHRMACHT ADMINISTRATION EM VISOR

A Heer Administrative Visor Cap by L. Reuther, constructed in doeskin wool with a dark green central band, and dark green Waffenfarbe piping for (Heeresverwaltung) Army Administration Branch. The visor cap features a mid-peak crown complete with a Wehrmacht eagle emblem, and a padded silver bullion wire oak wreath with a metal cockade in the center. The leather chin cord is damaged but present (I found another one in great condition that is included.). The interior of the cap is lined with golden satin fabric with clear diamond celluloid in the center with the classic markers mark “L. Reuther Munich”. The brown leather sweatband is in very good condition and is soft and supple. The cap has a beautiful shape and is in perfect condition.

Ludwig Reuther was located at Augustenstr. 46 in Munich.
They survived the war, at least for a short while.
One usually sees civil visors by them.
