An NSKOV Visor Cap w/ Nazi Eagle Badge – Makers Marked
This visor is the National Sozialistische Kriegsopferversorung” (National Socialist War-disabled-support [Organization]). It was formed in 1930 and institutionalized in 1933, as an associated society assisting NSDAP party members who had become disabled as a result of war injuries. This badge was used between 1937-1940. This Cap has the original Makers Stamp inside with the German Eagle and the name Carl Kirschner of Bayreuth. This is a good mid-war German Visor in good well-used condition.
World War 2 was one of the most significant conflicts in modern history. Millions of soldiers and civilians died in the fierce battles between the Allies and the Axis.
Tales of courage and sacrifices still live in the military artifacts that remain in our grandparents’ attics, basements, and footlockers.
