Original WWII German Army Black M38 Panzer Overseas Cap for Enlisted men and NCOs. The exterior color is Panzer black, and the material is a high-quality woolen yarn with a short nap finish. The thread used is black. The insignia is a late-war trapezoid that has been separated and hand-sewn to the cap; such modifications were quite common. The eagle and army cockade are positioned at the center of the skirt front, and are period sewn. The cap shows light wear and slight fading as expected from a period piece. The cap itself is in great shape. The liner is a dark cloth with no maker mark visible. Overall, excellent condition and a very desirable Army Panzer Cap for enlisted men and NCOs. It would make a nice addition to any collection or display.
